It can provide a sense of mental freshness, enabling one to think and make decisions more clearly; this is particularly beneficial during intense work, studying, or when facing challenging tasks requiring heightened concentration.\u00a0 Whether used as an essential oil, dried flowers, or as part of a relaxing environment, lavender\u2019s influence on mental clarity is valued by many who seek improved focus and a clearer mind<\/em>.&#8221; Right: Affogato<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fittingly, Lavender Cocinita sits on 4th Street in the Village of Los Ranchos, home to the aforementioned Lavender Festival.\u00a0 If you haven&#8217;t noticed the Cocinita during your peregrinations through the village, it&#8217;s probably beccause its signage isn&#8217;t especially prominent.\u00a0 Even if you&#8217;re doing the posted 25 miles-per-hour speed limit (and in New Mexico few\u00a0 do), you might just miss it.\u00a0 Lavender Cocinita is on the west side of 4th Street.\u00a0 Directly next door is the fabulous <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmgastronome.com\/?p=57886\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Busy Bee Frozen Custard<\/a><\/strong>, no longer just a food truck.\u00a0 To its immediate north is the\u00a0 El Camino Motor Lodge and on the east side of 4th Street is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmgastronome.com\/?p=265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">El Camino Dining Room<\/a><\/strong>, a &#8220;Better Call Saul&#8221; favorite.<\/p>\n<p>Neither Lavender Cocinita nor Busy Bee Frozen Custard have storefront parking.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll have to park either behind the small strip mall that houses both or park on a side street.\u00a0 \u00a0As of this writing (October 23, 2024) Lavender Cocinita is open every day but Wednesday and Sunday from 7AM to 3PM.\u00a0 \u00a0Cocinita&#8217;s website invites you to &#8220;<em>Start your morning off right with our artisanal coffee and espresso, \u00a0paired perfectly with freshly baked pastries that are sure to satisfy \u00a0your sweet tooth. I thought &#8220;<em>how big could a Reuben possibly be<\/em>.&#8221;\u00a0 We found out a <strong><em>Reuben<\/em><\/strong> (grilled Boar&#8217;s Head corned beef topped with melty Provolone, house- made red cabbage habenero kraut, in house Russian sauce on marbled rye) can be pretty sizeable indeed.\u00a0 Layers upon layers of thinly sliced corned beef matched the thickness of the lightly toasted marbled rye.\u00a0 Russian dressing, a creamy, slightly piquant, salmon-hued spread made from mayonnaise, ketchup, and other ingredients beats Thousand Island dressing every time.\u00a0 This version was terrific as was the red cabbage habanero kraut though it wasn&#8217;t nearly as piquant as you migh expect.\u00a0 The Reuben is served with fresh housemade seasoned potato chips.\u00a0 As Chef Sandoval predicted, we took home half the Reuben and more than half the chips.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kb0PBd ieodic\" data-snf=\"mCCBcf\" data-sncf=\"3\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_68579\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68579\" style=\"width: 632px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-68579 lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 632px;
