NO MICHELIN STARS OVER NEW MEXICO: If Michelin judges were driving on Michelin tires while scouting the Land of Enchantment’s restaurants, those tires must have been flat. How else can you explain the Land of Enchantment (and Arizona, too) being shut and not receiving even one Michelin star? None! Zero! Zip! Zilch! The inaugural “MICHELIN Guide for the American Southwest” (released in August 2026) did introduce local recommendations.
